Arcadia's Gift (Arcadia Trilogy #1) by Jesi Lea Ryan 2024-03-29T07:19:29+00:00

Arcadia's Gift (Arcadia Trilogy #1) At the moment, my favorite genre to read and write is Young Adult Paranormal Romance or Fantasy. That being said, most of my reviews (at the moment) will be Young Adult Paranormal Romance or Fantasy… Including this book. This was a fun read I just couldn’t put down, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book in the series. After her twin sister, Lony, dies, Cady’s life begins to spiral out of control until she meets Bryan and Jin. One helps her discover love while the other helps her discover her empathic abilities. What I loved about this book was how real it felt Arcadia's Gift (Arcadia Trilogy #1) by Jesi Lea Ryan

The Darkest Hour (The San Diegan, #1) Hes more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. - Emily BronteThe author is new to me. Ive seen her work in a few places and didnt know if I would like it or love it. Her cast of character in The Darkest Hour is amazing. The author created characters like Sam and Natalia that I wanted as girlfriends. Nat was the momma bear that was always the voice of reason. While Sam was the one that wanted your freak flag to fly. The bickering they did within the story made me laugh time and time again. Chase... Damn that man... He was a tortured soul The Darkest Hour (The San Diegan, #1) by S.M. Soto

The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass, #0.1-0.5) "My name is Celaena Sardothien and I wont be afraid."Want to know a secret? I dont particularly like Aelin... but I stan Celaena. And this! This is Celaenas story. This is all assassin. This is recklessness and play. This is taking control and using her voice. This is pain, betrayal and emptiness. This is Throne of Glass. This is what happened before the first book Throne of Glass, and it fills in gaps and provides details of Celaenas last year with Arobynn Hamels assassins The Assassin's Blade (Throne of Glass, #0.1-0.5) by Sarah J. Mindfulness for Beginners: Reclaiming the Present Moment―and Your Life by Jon Kabat-Zinn 2024-03-29T07:19:29+00:00

Mindfulness for Beginners: Reclaiming the Present Moment―and Your Life A really helpful and digestable primer for anyone interested in bringing more awareness and mindfulness to their life. Jon Kabat-Zinn writes about mindfulness in a really accessible way, and I think he’s one of the best writers on the topic. This is a good introduction to his work, with my favorite of his being “Wherever You Go, There You Are,” which was a life-changing read for me. Highly recommend his work Mindfulness for Beginners: Reclaiming the Present Moment―and Your Life by Jon Kabat-Zinn

Khârn: Eater of Worlds (Warhammer 40,000) by Anthony Reynolds 2024-03-29T07:19:29+00:00

Khârn: Eater of Worlds (Warhammer 40,000) This is one of the novellas that gets a character or set of characters from point A to point B. It was okay; Anthony Reynods is a decent writer and I like Kharn. Theres also a tough female character although like most Warhammer 40k books, this one doesnt pass the Bechdel test.
