The Cherry Tree Café This book starts when Lizzie, who is expecting a marriage proposal, is dumped by her boyfriend. She decides to move back home to Wynbridge to the delight of her best friend Jemma and helps her open the Cherry Tree Café. The plot focusses on her heartbreak, a new love interest and also a business venture. This is the first book of Heidi Swain’s that I’ve read and it definitely did not disappoint. I’ve wanted to read her books for a while as I’ve seen such good reviews. I found this book really enjoyable and an easy quick read The Cherry Tree Café by Heidi Swain

The Friend Zone (Game On, #2) *4.5* All the Cupcake and Special sauce stars.I’m really glad I gave myself some time between book one and this book. The hero in this story is quite a player in book one, and even though he had a big heart, I didn’t find him all that likable. This author has so much talent. The emotional weaving of her characters is quite impressive.M/f sport romanceBest friends to loversCommunication!!!!The best text messagesEmotional intimacyBEST hea and epilogue Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant were an excellent team on this audiobook. The Friend Zone (Game On, #2) by Kristen Callihan

Where Good Girls Go To Die (Good Girls, #1) This book started off so amazing and I was invested in these characters right away. But sadly that excitement faded as the book moved forward and it started to feel like a different story. The opening was so good and had a lot of intensity but from there it became kind of boring and the characters werent as interesting as the beginning promised. Livy was actually a big disappointment for me and I would have almost rather the stripper storyline not be a thing Where Good Girls Go To Die (Good Girls, #1) by Holly Renee

Daughter of the Drowned Empire (Drowned Empire, #1) 3.5 ⭐️I started this book feeling very excited & for the first 50 pages that excitement held. Unfortunately between the 100-200 page mark I realised that what I needed from the book wasn’t going to happen for me. The plot felt stretched & the moments of impact lost. It felt like I was reading a prequel novel (nothing wrong with prequel novels) but I just kept on being a bit disappointed with the decisions of the FMC & the obvious set up for later books - without providing the BANG I needed in THIS book Daughter of the Drowned Empire (Drowned Empire, #1) by Frankie Diane Mallis

Daunting Days of Winter (Kyle Tait #2) The Days ContinueThis was a good follow up book. Showed us that we can survive without power and all the modern technology we use everyday. I suggest you buy some good hoes and shovels because we are all going to be farmers again. The funny thing is that I would not mind since I like gardening.
