The Mermaid Murders (The Art of Murder, #1) 4 solid stars. As usual, I like my MM romances to have two MEN. Neither qualifying as "twink." Real men, at least one of which is a mans man. Those are my fave kind of MM romances.(Even tho Jason is "pretty." And is indeed snarky and melodramtic at times. But hes no twink thats for sure.) Honestly we dont even have a description beyond the fact that Jason is pretty. Im imagining this guy, or someone like him:I kinda like Jason better than the hero of the other series I read by Lanyon--the one with the kneecap injury. Hes less emotionally suppressed. I can relate to him better as a POV The Mermaid Murders (The Art of Murder, #1) by Josh Lanyon

Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky, #0.5) Definitely solidified my love for Roar (he reminds me a bit of Kenji from Shatter Me!) Roar and Liv (Under the Never Sky, #0.5) by Veronica Rossi

Everything I Left Unsaid (Everything I Left Unsaid, #1) FUUUUUUCK!!! Cliffy from hell!!!!!!Received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review :) Wow! this book really surprised me. It was different from the usual storylines in that it started w a simple phone call to a lost phone. Annie is running away from a degrading and abusive life...She has been sheltered and emotionally and physically abused her entire existence. She is a yes girl, always pushing her needs, wants even anger aside to please others. So, she runs... Everything I Left Unsaid (Everything I Left Unsaid, #1) by Molly O'Keefe

Ever Wrath (A Dark Faerie Tale, #4) Loved this book. Arthas has determined that the boundaries of Faerie will be eliminated and he will rule the world. Shade, Dylan and her comrades are determined to stop him and his armies. Awakening the Ancients seems like her only choice, but is it the right one? Could they cause more chaos and harm than good and healing? I like how Shade is growing and changing. She is maturing and learning all through her journeys and trials. Dylan is so strong and steady Ever Wrath (A Dark Faerie Tale, #4) by Alexia Purdy

Courage: The Joy of Living Dangerously So perfect. I dont know if I could ever move this over onto the "read" shelf, cause it just sits on my table and I pick it up and reread pages at a time. Its like wholesome snackfood for your heart. Courage: The Joy of Living Dangerously by Osho

Sands of Betrayal (Kilted Desire, #1) I am afraid I found this book too choppy, and it lacked the depth that I look for in a book.Interesting story, but again the delivery was a tad too dry.Well, except for sex scenes. Mr Sands of Betrayal (Kilted Desire, #1) by A.B. McKinley

The Hard Way (The Bank Robbers, #5) GreatI really enjoyed how the story evolved in this last book. It was great. I was happy that Isis got to see her sister. Some of the scenes were so funny at the B&B The Hard Way (The Bank Robbers, #5) by Annika Martin

For Whom the Bread Rolls (Pancake House Mystery, #2) When I want a laugh, I head over to the cozy mystery section of the library catalogue. The punny titles and cheaply photoshopped covers, usually featuring a cat, are so ridiculous. After scrolling through hundreds of these cheesy titles, I figured there must be something to the schtick and I should give one a try. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed listening to this. It is very professionally written, with good pacing and editing. It read a lot like an Elin Hilderbrand book. The title and cover are not doing it any marketing favors, but maybe those are the dog whitles to this subgenre, idk. For Whom the Bread Rolls (Pancake House Mystery, #2) by Sarah Fox
