Diary of an AssCan (The Martian, #0.5) by Andy Weir 2024-03-28T10:10:46+00:00

Diary of an AssCan (The Martian, #0.5) When the "AsCan" showed up in The Calculating Stars, I knew I had to go read this short, too. I love Mark Watney and all, and I LOVED The Martian, but ... I dont like Andy Weir and I should stop reading his stuff. Because, why was this short published? Its just more "heh heh wink wink" from Weir. On the other hand, this took me about one minute to read, including the time to find the story, so I cant say it was a waste of my time. Diary of an AssCan (The Martian, #0.5) by Andy Weir

Love in the Time of Serial Killers I didnt get the chemistry between the couple. Yes, they had some romantic scenes but I dont see them in a long-term relationship. The female lead was a little too much Love in the Time of Serial Killers by Alicia Thompson

The Drowning Faith (The Poppy War, #2.5) by R.F. Kuang 2024-03-28T10:10:46+00:00

The Drowning Faith (The Poppy War, #2.5) Well, R.F. Kuang does know how to open your chest, grab your fragile heart which hasnt yet recovered from reading The Dragon Republic, and tear it apart for good.Nezha, oh Nezha. I honestly didnt develop much liking for this character over the first book (but did start liking him in the second one, go figure) however, these stories from his point of view are so important and introspective! I now understand better certain aspects of his personality and the reasons why certain events took place (not that I necessarily agree with them of course) The Drowning Faith (The Poppy War, #2.5) by R.F. How to Play (Dangerous Games, #1) Fun read for gaming fansI just laughing at all the sights and people that I have seen at Gen con in this book. Plus the tie in to "The Gamers: Hand of Fate" made it even better ( and not just because my son and I had great seats for "Games Live" at Gen con 2012 resulting in getting our half second of fame as extras in the crowd). Khârn: Eater of Worlds (Warhammer 40,000) by Anthony Reynolds 2024-03-28T10:10:46+00:00

Khârn: Eater of Worlds (Warhammer 40,000) This is one of the novellas that gets a character or set of characters from point A to point B. It was okay; Anthony Reynods is a decent writer and I like Kharn. Theres also a tough female character although like most Warhammer 40k books, this one doesnt pass the Bechdel test. Clockwork Angel; Clockwork Prince; Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #1-3) by Cassandra Clare 2024-03-28T10:10:46+00:00

Clockwork Angel; Clockwork Prince; Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices, #1-3) The reason why I love this book is because the book ends well. The author, Cassandra Clare, describes beautifully in every chapter. This book also teaches about pure love. About love without possessiveness in it, brotherhood between the two friends, and also what can be done with the excuse of love. I love the main characters, Will, Jem and Tessa. That feels so alive, selfless, honest, pure, and self-sacrifice in the struggle for love. That there is always a chance to be happy in the flow of time. Cleat Catcher (The Cleat Chaser Duet, #2) I am such a sap. When I finished reading this I just sat there with a cheesy grin on my face because of the way it ended :)This was hot, sexy, and funny, but it had some depth to it. Braden and Nikki have some serious issues to work through because Bradens career is not where he thinks it is and in typical male fashion he shuts everyone down. I liked that he wasnt a jerk about it. Hes one of those that ignores whats happening to him to make sure everyone else is happy. When he and Nikki finally get on the same page, things were PERFECT Cleat Catcher (The Cleat Chaser Duet, #2) by Celia Aaron
