The Friend Zone (Game On, #2) *4.5* All the Cupcake and Special sauce stars.I’m really glad I gave myself some time between book one and this book. The hero in this story is quite a player in book one, and even though he had a big heart, I didn’t find him all that likable. This author has so much talent. The emotional weaving of her characters is quite impressive.M/f sport romanceBest friends to loversCommunication!!!!The best text messagesEmotional intimacyBEST hea and epilogue Teddy Hamilton and Grace Grant were an excellent team on this audiobook. Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) by Amelia Hutchins 2024-03-29T12:41:51+00:00

Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) DNF @ 22% with no star rating.Dammit!I love the Fae and I think had I not read the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning, I probably would have continued with this. Liked it even. But I didnt. Seriously, the Fever series is BENCHMARK. Stories should start out subtlety and not cram so much within a few pages. Build up is good.As it stands, the heroine got on my nerves early on. She did and said things in direct opposition to how she was described. I also figured out the big secret within the first chapter. The writing was also difficult to get past Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) by Amelia Hutchins

A Perfect Storm (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #4) Another huge hit for me with this last installment of the series! I know everyone is swooning over Spencer, but what made this book so great for me was hands down Arizona. I had really high expectations for the conclusion of the series, and Foster didnt disappoint me in the least A Perfect Storm (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #4) by Lori Foster

Enough As She Is: How to Help Girls Move Beyond Impossible Standards of Success to Live Healthy, Happy, and Fulfilling Lives Every book by Rachel Simmons is amazing. I love how naturally she discusses the struggles many girls and women go through. She does it without catastrophizing, but clearly presenting the problem. And, she gives very helpful suggestions for parents and caregivers. In raising a girl myself, the knowledge in this book is invaluable. I am so grateful to be able to learn from the author, and all the experience she has gathered from her work with young women. This book belongs in every parents library Enough As She Is: How to Help Girls Move Beyond Impossible Standards of Success to Live Healthy, Happy, and Fulfilling Lives by Rachel Simmons

The Son of Sobek (Demigods & Magicians, #1) I should have filmed my freak-out session once I found about this. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed by the second and third Kane Chronicles, but I still love the characters and idea. Ever since Carter mentioned seeing pegasi over the river, and Drew and Lacy were at Sadies school dance... Well.. The Son of Sobek (Demigods & Magicians, #1) by Rick Riordan

Red berries shiny as Chinese bells: black crows swoop upon them screaming. Having stuffed our burlap sacks with enough greenery and crimson to garland a dozen windows, we set about choosing a tree. ‘It should be,’ muses my friend, ‘twice as tall as a boy.
