The Good Daughter (Good Daughter, #1) Holy crap, this book was INTENSE! By the end of the prologue, I was breathless. And the intensity didnt stop. Karin Slaughter’s pacing of this book is fantastic. Tension-tension-tension-tension!I love the Quinn family. Defense attorney dad, Rusty, and genius mom, Gamma, have two teen daughters, Sam and Charlie. I find it hard to call them dysfunctional because they make everything work for them. They are funny, quirky, unique. The brutality unleashed on this family might be called unthinkable, but in reality it happens somewhere every day. Slaughter pulls no punches with the violence The Good Daughter (Good Daughter, #1) by Karin Slaughter

Warbreaker (Warbreaker, #1) “My life to yours. My Breath become yours.” This book blew me away, I love everything about it from the very first page to the last one. I was neither bored nor annoyed by any of the characters, I love them all, I dont even hate the villains, they are just to wise but I love how things ended for everyone despite their loss, it was worth the gain. This book has a very complex but simple magic system that I love so much, the magic use colour and breath, if you are familiar with Sanderson then you already know what a good job he did Warbreaker (Warbreaker, #1) by Brandon Sanderson

The Janes (Alice Vega, #2) What makes this series stand apart are PI Alice Vega and disgraced former cop, Max Caplan. The two make the perfect team. Smart, thoughtful, witty, and unique these two made me laugh, cringe, drop my jaw, cheer and smile like a fool. Now the case they tackle is dark begins with the murder of two young Jane Does approx 12 years in age; sex trafficking. Cartel, crook agents and more await you in this suspenseful thriller. Through it all Alice and Cap keep their cool and investigate. Professionally they click and behind the scenes there is this slow burning, subtle sizzle The Janes (Alice Vega, #2) by Louisa Luna

The Truth about Heartbreak THIS BOOK. MY LORD. Gosh, I read this in between almost everything in my daily life, sneaking in pages between cooking dinner, running after a toddler, and everything in between. It was THAT GOOD.River and Rhetts story is, just as the title indicates, heartbreaking. Its an epic saga of finding and keeping your one true soulmate ... and all of the hardships one has to endure to get there.I was so engrossed in this book. Its addicting and so well written, with twists and turns at every point you think youve just figured out the story The Truth about Heartbreak by B. Celeste

Try Me (Take a Chance, #1) This was yet another fantastic short novel by Diane Alberts! Her ability to put so much emotion into a book that takes only an hour or two to read is impeccable.Jeremy is a wounded soul. His father was an abusive alcoholic who committed murder and Jeremy was tagged as the boy on the wrong side of the tracks. He had been betrayed by his only close friend and lost the woman he loved in process. He doesn’t do serious relationships and for the most part doesn’t see himself as worthy of anything resembling a serious relationship Try Me (Take a Chance, #1) by Diane Alberts

The Art of Breathing (Bear, Otter, and the Kid, #3) Yes, after years of waiting for BOATK3, I *L-O-V-E-D* this story. It was *inevitable*, after all.I honestly expected this one to mainly be a love story between Ty and Dom. And it was. But it wasnt, too.Much of the story was centered around Ty and Bear, with only a smidge devoted to Otter (who I love, love, love.) Also, we get quite a bit of back story from Tys perspective early on through present. It wasnt quite what I expected, but that wasnt a bad thing, just different. And I was glad to see Paul and Vince (and Wheels & Johnny Depp) rolled into the story as a cool bonus The Art of Breathing (Bear, Otter, and the Kid, #3) by T.J. Klune
