Bonds of Desire (Wicked Play, #3) This book has too much going on. Tyler is coming off a major trauma. Allison is so ignorant she doesnt even know what bisexuality is. Theres no way theyre forming a healthy D/s threesome in that short an amount of time. Bonds of Desire (Wicked Play, #3) by Lynda Aicher

  • The Pillar
The Pillar by Kim Fielding 2024-03-28T20:44:50+00:00

The Pillar I really enjoyed this book, (as usually happens with Kims stories). This is a historical short, but not.. It has all the elements but the development and the ending add a sweet and interesting "happily ever after" sort of element. Faris is the herbalist/healer of town. He has a painful past that still torments him. He carries his guilt with him and doesnt think much of himself. He makes sure that his self-loathing is never forgotten. Hes broken, hes pained, and hes lonely. He has a huge heart, hes compassionate and greatful. He normally paints this line between himself anf his patients.. The Pillar by Kim Fielding

Tipping the Balance (CalPac Crew, #2) by C. Koehler 2024-03-28T20:44:50+00:00

Tipping the Balance (CalPac Crew, #2) I really liked the relationship between Drew and Brad. The feelings Brad went through to come to terms with his attraction to Drew was some of the most believable Ive read. And I must say Drew had the patience of a saint to deal with some of the things Brad said. I read this one first before I realized it was actually a sequel and went back to read the first one; I liked this book a lot more then the first. This is a really good story that focuses more on the romance and less on sex (though there is some pretty hot sex). Cant wait to read more from this author. Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar Where did my review go? I posted it last night and now its gone ... Hmm. When will I learn and start writing my reviews in Word and not directly on GR?Here we go again.I wouldnt have picked this to read had it not been for the raving reviews of a few GR friends, so many thanks to Esil, Glenn, Elyse and Cheri for the direct and indirect prompt.I chose to listen to the audiobook and it was just perfect, as it was narrated by Cheryl Strayed herself.I knew early on that this book was going to kill me as I wept while listening to the introduction read by Steve Almond Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed

The Outlander Series (Outlander, #1-7) Such a great series. I have not met one person who read them and hated it. I tell all my friends that this is the one series that is worth your time and money. I bought the 1-7 bundle in my Kindle. I now want the hardback books for my book shelf. Not going to lie there are some parts that drags. She is a great storyteller and weaver. The Outlander Series (Outlander, #1-7) by Diana Gabaldon

A Suitable Replacement (Deceived, #4) by Megan Derr 2024-03-28T20:44:50+00:00

A Suitable Replacement (Deceived, #4) Reviewed for Rainbow Gold ReviewThe cover of the book implied for me, that this would be a historical. You get a historical setting with carriages, breeches, cravats, ballrooms and how to address the other person properly but that´s where the similarities ends. I actually was a little confused at the beginning why Mavin, Maximillian´s twin sister, is the Duchess and not Max the Duke, since that´s not how passing on of the title works, normally at least. Since I assumed this story would be a historical, I, of course, was at fault for wrong expectations A Suitable Replacement (Deceived, #4) by Megan Derr
